How old is the property?
What records are there at the local council?
If the house is relatively new or extensions and alterations have taken place, are the relevant building permits in place?
Do the electrics need upgrading?
Check the condition of piles and roof.
When will the home need painting again?
Check the water pressure from taps and the shower.

Swimming pool
Does it have the necessary consent?
Does the fencing comply with current rules and regulations?

Decks
If over a metre off the ground do they have the necessary consents?
